Warren Buffett says if you invested 10k in index funds in 1942… you’d now have 51 million dollars. And that you can still replicate this today… Many people argue that Index Funds are the only way to make money in the stock market… that everything else is either luck or manipulation.
Let’s build up excitement… the markets are in trouble and people don’t know where to invest
But is it true? Or is this a lie to get the average investor to prop up the economy?
Right now, the markets are bleeding… so I wanted to see if Index Funds are really as powerful as some economists say. Because if Index Funds mirror the markets’ performance… then choosing a basket means choosing an index or a sector in the bleeding economy.
So the real question is… which sectors can theoretically make you rich during a recession?
