I expect 5 REITs to cut their dividend, possibly in 2023. These 5 REITs are not among the best REITs to buy for 2023 and I would not include them in a dividend portfolio, despite trading at low valuations. They are Piedmont Office Realty Trust (PDM REIT), Annaly Capital Management (NLY REIT), DIC Asset (DIC Stock), Blackstone Mortgage Trust (BXMT REIT) and Brandywine Realty Trust (BDN) have problems that could lead to a dividend cut. City Office REIT (CIO) and Vornado Realty Trust (VNO) already announced their dividend cuts in recent months.
