REITs were the 2nd worst performing sector in 2025, and this was non surprise given how high interest rates were, as the REIT sector is very interest rate sensitive.
However, with interest rates coming down, although maybe not as fast as some expected earlier, they are coming down nonetheless which will benefit REITs in the long-term.
